Якубовіце
Завдяки вдалому розташуванню села за декілька кілометрів від Любліна, великого адміністративного і торговельного центра Польської держави...
Due to a beneficial location of the village a few kilometres from Lublin, large administrative and commercial centre of the Polish state, a two-storey castle or rather a palace was built in Jakubowice in the second half of the 16th century.
Its owners changed often: it belonged to the Tęczyński family, later - to the Ostrogski and the Zasławski families. After becoming related to the Lubomyrski family, as a result of marriage to Marianna Lubomyrska, the Jakubowice palace as well as the estates in Lewartów and Kijany passed into the hands of Duke Pawel Karol Sanguszko. They remained in possession of his family until 1779.
In 1779 the Szeptycki family took over the manor complex in Jakubowice. After 1803 the building was rebuilt in the Pseudo Romantic style. In the mid-nineteenth century another renovation of the building was made, this time in the historicising style. Among others, a cylindrical and ceramic coated tower was built. In 1920s brick gables were added.
During World War II the building was severely damaged and was never restored. Now the palace is on conservation.
