On September 22, 2020 in Lutsk the official presentation of the virtual cross-border tourist route and the final conference of the project "Prince Sanguszko’s Family By-Ways Virtual Tour – let’s reveal new pages of shared Ukrainian and Polish history" took place. The event was held jointly with Polish partners by video conference.
The meeting was attended by representatives of local governments and the executive branch, tourism institutions, museums, researchers and the media.
During the event, the main products of the project were presented - a virtual tourist route, a web portal, a mobile application and a tourist guide. Also, participants had the opportunity to watch promotional videos prepared by each party.
In the second part of the conferences the general results and achievements of the project were presented. During the discussion, the participants discussed how to use the cultural and historical heritage to promote the border region, increase its tourism potential and how to ensure the sustainability of the project. Also, ideas for further cooperation and writing of subsequent cross-border projects were outlined.
